What you will be doing

  • Review transaction reports, adjust errors and process journal entries.
  • Identify issues, streamline processes and develop procedures.
  • Reconcile accounts payable aging to the general ledger monthly.
  • Enters checks into the general ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable records and file records.
  • Matches invoices, purchase orders and receivers prior to payment distribution.
  • Matches invoices to checks prior to signing and ensure each check has appropriate support.
  • Leads or supports annual 1099 reporting and auditing.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in accounts payable required.
  • Construction industry or construction project accounting experience preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and investigation skills.
  • Advanced industry and accounting program knowledge.
