Communications Manager

This includes planning and managing our employee communications, external communications and marketing communications programs to strengthen our brand.

• Develops and manages corporate communications strategies and branding. 

• Implements employee communication initiatives. 

• Executes public relations plans at national and local levels to support business objectives. 

• Creates marketing communications programs and materials to drive company strategy. 

• Develops various communication materials (graphics, brochures, fact sheets, presentations) within corporate design standards. 

• Plans external media initiatives, including news releases and advertising. 

• Develops messaging for external stakeholders around company strategy and programs. 

• Oversees company responses to media and community inquiries and maintain content for corporate websites. 

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field required.  

• Master’s degree in related field preferred.  

• 10+ years’ experience in corporate communications or related field required.  

• Experience in construction industry communications program preferred.  

• Expert communications planning skills. 

• Ability to communicate with media on the Company’s behalf. 

• Expert leadership, written, verbal, presentation, training, influence and interpersonal skills required.  

• Strong AP writing style skill required.  

• Beginner knowledge of print/web graphics and SharePoint 

• Moderate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). 

• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint.
