Overview

You will leverage your technical background to inspect pre-grouting conditions, oversee grouting procedures and verify the integirty of the grouting work.

What you will be doing

  • Inspect grouting activities including preparation, mixing, application, and curing processes to ensure adherence to project plans and technical specifications.
  • Monitor quality control of grout materials and workmanship, including sampling and testing as required.
  • Verify that grout placement meets design requirements, including volume, pressure, and coverage.
  • Document inspection findings, maintain detailed records, and prepare reports on grouting progress and any deviations or issues.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical challenges related to grouting operations.
  • Ensure all grouting work complies with applicable safety standards and environmental regulations on the construction site.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in construction inspection with a focus on grouting or related concrete and foundation works.
  • Basic education (high school diploma or equivalent); additional technical certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and best practices for grouting operations.
  • Comfortable working alongside and coordinating with crews as well as other diverse crews on site.
  • Post Tensioned Institute (PTI) – Level II OR Inspector preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Certification in construction inspection or related fields (e.g., ICC, NICET) is an asset.

Salary Min

CAD $75,000.00/Yr.

Salary Max

CAD $85,000.00/Yr.
