What you will be doing

  • Develops, implements, and manages Company compensation philosophy, programs, procedures, and administration. Champions compensation programs throughout the business to ensure an equitable, defensible, and competitive structure that attracts and retains top diverse talent.
  • Works closely with Finance and executive leadership to facilitate the timeline, budget, manager input, executive approval and execution of the annual salary increase and staff bonus cycle.
  • Provides guidance and facilitates Company incentive plan designs, budget and communication including Short-Term Incentive (STIP) and Long-Term Incentive Programs (LTIP).
  • Leads market data analysis, including survey library and platform implementations, benchmarking, job matching, data analytics, and survey participation. Evaluates market data annually to update Grade Table salary ranges and ensure accurate placement of roles within Grade Table.
  • Provides salary data and pay decision guidance to drive an internally compliant and market competitive compensation program aligned with Company goals.
  • Owns overall Job Architecture, to include: job titles, descriptions, and career progressions for the Company. Leads job evaluations and benchmarking activities to ensure roles are clearly and consistently defined using Company job classification guidelines.
  • Partners with Company leadership, Talent Acquisition, Finance and Human Resources to develop and maintain competitive and compliant compensation packages to support attracting and retaining top diverse talent.
  • Manages special projects and provides analysis as needed for retention, job leveling, salary trend analysis, compliance requirements, and internal auditing requirements.
  • Keeps apprised of Federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance. Works with legal support to develop plans, trainings, and communications for regulatory changes.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
  • Support published corporate policies.
  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
  • 7+ years’ of experience in compensation required.
  • Experience leading compensation programs, including merit cycles, bonus and incentive programs, and executive compensation preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, influence, and strategy skills.
  • Developed project management and change management skills required.
  • Able to identify training needs and develop plans, tools and communications to increase understanding and achieve buy-in at all levels of the company.
  • Skilled in job analysis and methodologies to classify and evaluate jobs.
  • Logical and able to explain down-stream impact of compensation decisions to support Company people values and ensure regulation compliance.
  • Advanced analytical skills. Able to tell a story from identified trend analysis.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidential information, including data collection, record keeping, reporting, and communication.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with Company functions, including Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, to develop and maintain consistent and competitive compensation programs.

USD $140,000.00/Yr.
