• Monitor the implementation of environmental aspects of the project on a daily basis, under the direction of the Environmental Manager
• Ensure compliance with all project requirements including the project agreement, environmental assessment, and applicable environmental law
• Prepare reports summarizing environmental issues and deficiencies and associated corrective and preventative measures
• Maintain and update the compliance table monthly
• Liaise with the environmental team and construction contractor and attend meetings to provide updates to the client
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an Environmental or any other relevant discipline (environmental science, ecology, etc)
• Minimum 5 years of experience conducting environmental inspections, monitoring and compliance
• Experience with the MTO Construction Administration and Inspection Task Manual 2005
• Experience with major transit/infrastructure projects in Ontario
• Knowledge of methods, approaches and best management practices related to environmental inspections and ESC inspections
• Ability to work effectively in high demand, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide strong leadership managing a multi-discipline team
