Document Control Specialist

This position will be on our Virginia Beach flood mitigation project. Flatiron will improve stormwater management, protect water supply and relieve flooding in neighborhoods throughout Virginia Beach. This project is slated to last 5+ years.

• Completes and processes all incoming and outgoing documents in the document control database, including electronic logging, scanning, distribution and storage needs.
• Maintains and distributes daily Project Read Files.
• Files and stores physical documents, including paper, manuals, books, photos, videos, and digital media in the project files.
• Establishes and maintains a listing of all materials stored in the Project Library.
• Maintains project File Index, files and library.
• Monitors Primavera program for compliance to procedures and requirements of the project and the company.
• Assists with internal audits and inspections to ensure department work is performed accurately, efficiently and with cost control.

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in a related field required.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Primavera Contract Manager
